Instructional Pulse is a product of BetterSchools Consulting, founded by Chris Bostock. Chris has spent 20 years in schools as a teacher, dean, principal, regional leader and superintendent. Pulse turns the walkthrough, coaching and goal-setting routines he has used with hundreds of leaders into one system.

Why Pulse exists
The walkthrough was never the hard part. What came next was.
When I supervised principals, the evidence lived in one place, the coaching in another and the school goals in a third. Bringing those pieces together took time that could have gone toward supporting leaders and teachers.
Pulse connects curriculum implementation, teacher practice, student results, and instructional goals so district and charter network leaders can focus support and follow through across schools.
