See Your Instructional Leadership Routines in Pulse.
In 30 minutes, see how curriculum look-fors, classroom evidence, coaching, and school goals come together. Bring a rubric or curriculum unit if you have one—no prep required.
- No prep required. Rubric and curriculum are optional but help.
- A conversation with a principal supervisor, not a sales script.
What you'll see
One loop, start to finish.
- 01See it. A walkthrough with your rubric and this unit's look-fors, on a phone.
- 02Coach it. A focused action step, a See It, Name It, Do It meeting, and evidence to review on the next visit.
- 03Move it. Class-level results alongside classroom evidence, plus progress toward a school goal.
Optional: What to Bring
Whatever you use today.
- 01Your walkthrough rubric, even if it lives in Google Forms.
- 02One unit of curriculum, such as a unit plan or year-at-a-glance.
- 03The question you get asked most by your board or superintendent.
Who should join
The people who supervise schools.
- →Chief academic officers, district leaders, and charter network leaders
- →Principal supervisors and instructional superintendents
- →A principal or coach who'll use it every week
Questions
What leaders ask first.
Is Pulse an evaluation tool?
No. Pulse is non-evaluative by design and runs beside your evaluation system, not instead of it. Teacher self-reflections never count toward official data.
Does it work with our curriculum?
Yes. Curriculum sets up any course one at a time: paste a list, use a grid, copy a course, or draft look-fors with AI from your own documents and review them before anything is saved.
Do you store student data?
Pulse is staff-facing. Assessment results are entered as class-level summaries with no student names, and notes boxes warn when text looks like a student name or ID.
How does setup work?
You bring your rubric and curriculum, and we build them into Pulse with you, along with your staff roster, coaching Playbook and first school goals.
Will our IT and legal teams be comfortable?
Pulse uses school-account sign-in, separates each district's data at the database level, keeps AI off until you turn it on, and is ready to sign the California NDPA and New York Ed Law 2-d DPA. See the Trust Center.
